In a varied and
exciting career, CEO Allan King® has interviewed world leaders
and pop stars, and people from just about every walk of life in between!
Among his many on-air discussions with political and business leaders, Allan
obtained the first television interview with Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams the
day after the London Docklands bombing broke the IRA cease-fire in 1996.

Other notable stories he has anchored include the signing of the Good Friday
Agreement on Northern Ireland, IRA arms decommissioning, many
elections, and the globalization protests in Seattle which turned into
riots.
In
the 1970's and 80's Allan® was a familiar voice on national
commercial radio as a main newsreader with IRN (Independent Radio News),
and in London presented a range of programmes on LBC Radio. He moved into
television news in 1990 when he joined BSB as a presenter. In 1991 he
became Head of News at London's Melody FM, and joined Sky News two years
later.
He currently runs Media Training courses for British diplomats from the Foreign
and Commonwealth Office before their overseas postings. He has trained personnel
